The BEST Green Smoothie Recipe

The BEST Green Smoothie Recipe

I have been getting TONS of questions from y’all on my Instagram (@shaylaquinn) about smoothie recipes, so of course the first recipe I’m going to share is my FAVORITE green smoothie recipe! This is my daily go-to combo as it is simple, naturally sweet, and packed with lots of plant-based goodness.

While I stick to the same main ingredients, I often alternate and rotate between various superfoods and herbal additives depending on what I feel like my body needs, so there is definitely room to customize this recipe beyond the main ingredients to suit your own specific needs! I have listed the main ingredients I always use, as well as a separate list of my current favorite additives that I throw in when I am needing an extra boost!

Main Ingredients

[These are the ingredients I ALWAYS use for this recipe!]

Fresh Organic Baby Spinach

Frozen Organic Mango Chunks

Frozen Organic Banana

Organic Coconut Water

Chia Seeds

Hemp Seeds

1 Brazil Nut

Optional Herbs and Superfoods

[These are some of my current favorite superfoods and herbs that I tend to add into my smoothie! I try to limit myself to only picking a few extras to avoid over doing it. You want to give each ingredient the space it needs to be able to do it’s job! Adding in too many can create an imbalance, so it’s best to just choose 3!]

Moringa Leaf Powder

Tocos (Rice Bran Solubles)

Acacia Fiber Powder

Maca Powder

Matcha Powder

Raw Pumpkin Seeds

Vegan Protein Powder

Spirulina Powder

Flax Oil

Goji Berries

Now, you may be wondering how I choose which herbs and extra superfoods I add in, so below is a basic breakdown I follow for each ingredient that may help you choose which ones are best for you! As always, do your own research before deciding! It’s YOUR body, and making sure you know exactly what your putting in it should always be your priority!
