Snacking is one of my favorite things. I'm one of those people who has eating schedules, if it's exactly 10AM you know I'll be eating my frist snack, 1PM lunch, 4PM snack and 7-8PM dinner... I'm crazy like that. But it's better to have an eating schedule to remind yourself to constantly be eating. A lot of people forget to eat when they're busy (I will never be one of those people and will NEVER understand those kinds of people... ) Who doesn't look forward to eating food in general? Literally ALWAYS thinking about food!

With the amount of exercise I do, my body burns food pretty quickly. This is why it's important to eat constantly so your metabolism is always running. The more times a day you eat, the better, because your body converts it into energy...Always in smaller quantities. It's better to eat 5 small meals than 3 large ones. If you're a hungry person like me, this will definitely work better for you rather than starving yourself for 5 straight hours until lunch or dinner. Eating small, frequent meals throughout the day can improve your concentration and mood since food provides glucose which your body needs to stay focused and calm. When you starve yourself for long periods of time, your blood sugar levels fall, which causes irritability. HANGRY would be the term for this =)

It's hard to think of different things to snack on, I always end up eating the same things because I'm too lazy to think of something different to eat. I've always been a fan of hummus and it's always one of my go-to snacks. To switch it up a little, I made this hummus out of white beans which are a great combination of fats, carbs and protein. Everything you need in a meal or snack. PLUS, Sriracha: one of my 1000 obsessions. You just can't go wrong with it. The combination between Sriracha and lime is one of my favorites, it's a great marinade for meats and also great for any type of dressing. I usually pair hummus with veggies to avoid any extra carbs: red pepper, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower… you choose! Pair it with a wrap, sandwich, anything or everything. It does have Sriracha so you know how it usually ends up (empty bottle).

Real easy, if you don't feel like cooking the white beans yourself you can always get the cans at the store, I cooked them on a pressure pot so it would be quicker. Everything definitely tastes better when you make it yourself, the less canned foods you eat, the better. Au naturale.
