I’m honestly stoked about starting the Sweat 12 Week Challenge once again! I did the challenge last year when Kayla first did it and I felt so motivated just by doing something at the same time as the trainer herself and the whole community behind her. This isn’t the first blog post I’ve written on BBG, you guys know I’ve been a fan for a long time.
 

My January has been kind of slow after Christmas and New Year’s and getting back on track hasn’t been easy, but there’s nothing better than starting a challenge and knowing there’s other people pushing through like you are!
 

I’ve done a couple of rounds of BBG, so I’ve decided I’m going to try Kelsey Well’s new PWR program. I’m a gym freak so I’m all about those gym-based workouts, BBG was more of a do at home kind of workout, still very challenging though. PWR definitely looks like something I want to spend the first few months of 2018 doing. I was in between doing BBG Stronger which is also gym-based, but the progress Kelsey has made fitness wise is impressive for me so I definitely want do what she’s been doing! I’m definitely looking forward to building more muscle this year.
 

The PWR program consists of exercises to help you sculpt lean muscle. They’re unique circuits consisting of activations, supersets, pyramid training and optional burnouts. I actually tried one of the arm workouts from the first day just to see what the program was like and I really liked it, that’s why I decided to go with PWR.
 

If you’re trying to make a lifestyle change, (and by trying I mean burning all those Christmas cookies like I am) or feeling lost on how to even start this year, I definitely recommend doing one of the programs from the Sweat app. There’s literally a program for every kind of person, if you’re not so much of a gym person, you can go with BBG. If you’ve done BBG but want to migrate into more gym-based workouts and start to learn how to use the different machines at the gym, I recommend doing the Stronger program or PWR.

If you’re pregnant or like yoga, there’s Kelsey's post-pregnancy program or Sjana's Body and Mind (BAM) program. PLUS, you’ll have a whole community to support you. The Sweat app is amazing because there’s a community tab where you can access discussions, blogs by trainers and contributors (check them out! J) and many more. Like I said, it makes the challenge easier having other people doing it with you, going through the same struggles and supporting and motivating each other. The Sweat community has helped me throughout the years and motivated me to keep pushing through because if all those people have made all that progress, SO CAN YOU.
