Chest Opening Stretch

Step 1

Position the foam roller horizontally behind you. Bend your knees and position your feet firmly on the mat. Lie back onto the foam roller so that it is gently resting on your mid-back, directly below your shoulder blades, and extend your arms directly above your chest.

Step 2

Slowly relax your upper back and shoulders and rest your head on the mat. Rest your arms in a comfortable position on either side of your body. Hold this position for the specified amount of time, breathing deeply throughout.
